Artist Bio: Deyaa Rambo, also known as DeyaaOne, is a Saudi street artist born in Makkah and based in Jeddah. He is considered one of the pioneers of the Saudi graffiti scene, active since 2005. He is the creative director and co-founder of Saudi Arabia’s first graffiti shop and community, DHAD, established in 2013.
Deyaa was awarded Best Graffiti Artist in Saudi Arabia (2019) and was selected as a Face of Vision 2030 in 2024.
His artistic journey began in childhood. As an introverted child, he found refuge in imagination and art, encouraged by his father, who played a key role in nurturing his creativity. Influenced by cartoons and comic books, Deyaa discovered graffiti after painting his first mural with his father. Being self-taught, he faced challenges due to limited resources and the absence of a local graffiti scene. In 2005, participating in a graffiti competition deeply shaped his understanding of the freedom, expression, and message behind the art form.
He opened the first graffiti store in Jeddah and founded the DHAD community, becoming a leading figure in the development of graffiti culture in Saudi Arabia.his work and murals shown and visible around the world in USA, Europe and most of the Arab region. He collaborated with brands like, Puma, Aape, Adidas, G-shock, Mercedes
Deyaa’s artistic style focuses on illustration and character design, and he has created a distinctive universe known as Rambo World. This world reflects his unique perspective, shaped by growing up between Makkah and Jeddah and influenced by diverse cultures and rich Islamic heritage. Through symbolic shapes and imagined worlds, he expresses his inner thoughts and emotions. One of the central characters in his work is Birde, a recurring hero that represents freedom, flight, and identity.
In Rambo World, imagination has no limits. It is a space where thoughts take form, hearts take flight, and dreams soar freely —
“For flying humans only.”
